Meet the Brand-New Volkswagen Golf GTE

In line with the updates to the Golf range, Volkswagen have updated the Golf GTE, releasing a model with brand-new styling and a significantly longer range.
The updated Golf GTE can travel for up to 81 miles on pure electric power, creating additional flexibility and economical driving. The power system has also been increased, now offering 200 Kw or 272 PS! Thanks to the additional electric power, the Golf GTE surpasses the Golf GTI for the first time in pure power output.
Other advancements include the addition of DC fast charging, increasing the convenience of this hybrid vehicle.
Exterior
The exterior styling has also been updated reflect the brand-new Golf, as the iconic model is celebrating its 50th anniversary, the new changes add additional style and sportiness. This includes updated front LED Plus headlights and redesigned LED taillight clusters, this not only adds additional styling to the exterior but dramatically increases visibility when driving in poor conditions.
As standard, the Golf GTE features the eye-catching 17” Richmond alloys, which make a fantastic impression. The GTE will be available in eleven paint finishes , including four brand new options: Crystal Ice Blue metallic, Anemone Blue metallic, Oyster Silver metallic and Grenadilla Black metallic.
Interior
Sportiness is at the centre of Golf GTE interior design. The premium seats are finished in the recognisable check pattern, the multi-function sports steering wheel is wrapped in a premium leather and high-quality trim has been included throughout adding quality to the dash panel and front door panels.
As standard, the Golf GTE features the Digital Cockpit Pro, infotainment system and discover media navigation system as standard. This can be controlled via the 12.9” free-standing touch display. This interactive system ensures that using the in-car entertainment and information is always easy and convenient.
Additionally, the GTE is fitted with a variety of driver assistance systems, including Travel Assist, Emergency Braking, Lane Assist and a recuperation function.
