And following on from the new A3, here we have the new ‘S’ model to bring extra flair to this well-rounded hatchback.

The new S3 is “more like a baby RS 3 than ever before”.

Exterior design

At the car's forefront, its renovated singleframe grille takes center stage, underscored by impressively large, geometrically shaped air intakes on either side. The car's visual height is perceptively reduced by an attention-grabbing front spoiler, equipped with two vertically-oriented struts that borrow inspiration from the world of motorsport.

The car's external appeal is boosted by features such as a fresh rear bumper and diffuser, vertical edge reflectors, and a quartet of exhaust tips.

Unique to this model, the Audi Beam casts the iconic 'S' logo onto the ground whenever a door is opened. The S Vorsprung model upgrades the standard features with Matrix LED headlights, LED rear lights featuring dynamic turn signals, and adaptable daylight running light signatures.

The S3 Sportback stands out with its alluring 19" 5-spoke alloy wheels and larger-than-usual ventilated brake discs. In addition, the Vorsprung package includes 19" alloy wheels designed specifically by Audi's sport division.

Interior design

The S3 Sportback's interior effortlessly merges refined luxury with a sport-inspired design. The car features a state-of-the-art 3-zone climate control system, allowing separate temperature zones for the driver and passengers. The interior is further elevated by extended coloured ambient lighting, instilling a high-quality ambiance. A flat-bottomed, 3-spoke leather steering wheel and a cutting-edge head-up display amplify the overall aesthetic appeal.

Ample space for five passengers is provided and includes ISOFIX child seat fixtures for added safety. An impressive 325 liters of boot space ensures efficient storage. Sports seats in the front are accentuated with Fine Nappa leather and the signature S embossing, and also feature a heating option. Privacy glass is another attribute of the S3 Sportback, while Vorsprung models boast electronically adjustable front seats with memory functionality.
